Course Overview

This is a 2-hour workshop intended for clinical teachers and preceptors from any and all specialties. It is the second of a series of interprofessional Clinical Teaching Workshops being offered exclusively to MGH employees through the IHP Office of Continuing and Professional Development.

Topics:

  • Compare and contrast effective and ineffective feedback techniques.
  • Apply the principles of advocacy-inquiry as a method to enhance feedback discussions.
  • Practice activities that reframe feedback as an alliance between teacher and learner.
