Course Overview

This is a 2-hour workshop intended for clinical teachers and preceptors from any and all specialties. It is the third of a series of interprofessional Clinical Teaching Workshops being offered through the IHP Office of Continuing and Professional Development.

Attend this workshop to improve your ability to understand and use evidence-based practice including the ability to ask clinically relevant questions, find and interpret research evidence, and apply evidence to practice.


  • Define evidence-based practice. 
  • Construct a well-built clinical question.
  • Identify key evidence-based practice resources and source of best evidence
